As a founding member of BCG’S Business Intelligence and Analytics hub , you will help a kick start a centralized global financial reporting and analytics service team. This hub will greatly enhance how our management engage in information required to manage the business. To date, the team has finalized design of the hub and is in the process of operationalization. Our Management is fully bought into the vision and we are putting together the best in class analytics team to make it happen. You will be the one of the core members to start this hub and contribute to its long term vision.
While working with Senior BI &A experts the Business Analyst will be responsible for executing analysis work related to financial reporting and analytics needs , using relevant data tools reporting environment and dashboards for BCG. The role will involve a rotation program with an opportunity to do stints across various areas of finance. The analyst will spend significant time navigating finance data to support senior management decision making across the globe.

- Ability to structure hypothesis build thoughtful analyses develop underlying data models and bring clarity to previously undefined problems.
- Desire and flexibility to work through details with keen attention to accuracy and interdependencies .
- Natural curiosity to understand how things work and why ; our data our processes and our reports
- Desire to comprehend root causes when issues arises.
- Comfortable working with ambiguity , complex and in an iterative environment.
Communication Interpersonal and teaming skills
- Work positively and collaboratively with others and within team builds strong and lasting relationships .
- working and partnering with remote team members in different time zones
- Adapt styles to changing situations and audience with tact poise and patience. Demonstrate persistence to drive change. Contributes to positive and productive work environments.
- Experience in data visualization and/or ability to present data analytics in an insightful manner for the leadership will be an added plus.
Work Management and organizational planning
- Must be able to perform successfully in a fast paced intellectually intensive, service oriented environment.
- Strong organizational skills and process management skills.
- Ability to contribute to work to multiple works streams at once and prioritize efforts accordingly. Demonstrated ability to drive projects to scheduled conclusion.
- Familiarity and willingness to work on agile methodology will be a plus.
Eligibility | Boston Consulting Group Recruitment
Bachelors Degree in Finance / Accounting information systems or economics.
sound analytical and reporting skills combined with excellent communication skills ; written and oral
proven ability to work effectively in a global environment with peoples at all levels preferably in a professional services organization.
Basic Finance knowledge of financial statement including p&l , Balance sheets etc is preferred.
Advanced computer Literacy.
Experience with and exposure to data analytics and business intelligence tools e.g. SAP Business objects , power BI , Tableau; writing queries ,building reports and diagnosing issues .
Prefer Experience with oracle applications such as oracle financials , HFM , Hyperion Planning
