The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) is the central UN institution that uses volunteers to promote peace and development around the world. Volunteerism for Development is a UNV belief. The goal of volunteerism for development is to maximise the positive impact of volunteering on peace and development.
To achieve this, the governmental sector, civil society, and the commercial sector must work together, with assistance from the United Nations system and the international community. Individual citizens can also play a significant role through volunteering. Every day, people participate in development activities through large and little volunteer actions in order to better the lives of others and themselves. Many millions of individuals volunteering is vital to attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
UNV is motivated by the belief that volunteerism may change the pace and type of development, as well as the notion that everybody can devote time and energy to peace and development. Volunteerism is an effective way to get people involved in solving development problems and changing the speed and type of development.
About Internship
V-Force (https://v-force.in/), a UNV India initiative, is a platform designed to inspire, help, and guide volunteers across the country in their efforts to contribute to sustainable development.

Responsibilities
- Sensitize your community about the triple planetary crisis of climate change, nature’s loss, and pollution and how youth play a critical role in tackling such issues
- Executing the V-Force campaign by conducting online & offline tasks within your community & raising awareness, and engagement on the campaign
- Creating a network of volunteers and stakeholders to support the World Environment Day 2022 campaign
Eligibilities
- Only those candidates can apply who:
- are available for the work from home job/internship
- can start the work from home job/internship between 10th May’22 and 14th Jun’22
- are available for duration of 3 weeks
- have relevant skills and interests
- Google Suite (G Suite)
- Social Media Marketing
