Sales Analyst Job Description
Foreign exchange and interest rates are the macromarkets that constitute the backbone of the global economy, necessitating that an FX salesman stay current on geopolitical news events and market movements worldwide. Our clients include hedge funds, central banks, corporations, and insurance/pension funds, and we trade a wide range of currency pairs in both established and emerging economies.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the sales desk to run statistical analysis of client trading activity in order to help the business increase revenues
- Complete intraday tasks to help power the FX franchise such as raising eBoards, QAT setups for clients trading via APIs, troubleshooting credit rejects and project-managing EMIR reporting setups
- Helping to maintain and sustain the electronic trading eco-system by working with third-party vendors on MDP Mappings for users, accounts, designation notices, eDN Management and STP setup
- Prepare clients to trade ahead of go-live with detail-focused involvement in top level creation- accounts, deemed acceptance agreements and master confirmation agreements
- Support the expansion of our digital storefront Marquee including by sending welcome logins, saving new users to CrashID Hub; managing research enablement and responding to inbound client requests regarding user permissioning
- Coordinate with Ops and client middle office teams on resolving trade issues
- Process NPVs, pre-liquidations and novations
Eligibilities
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification with an excellent academic record.
- 1-2 years’ experience in FX/Rates with a good understanding of products traded.
- Strong Interest in global financial markets and derivatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal (written and verbal) skills.
- Attention to Detail.
- Ability to multi-task & deliver under pressure
- Solid work ethic and high levels of motivation
