MBA Internship Opportunities 2022 Job Description
Amazon Future Builders Program (AFBP) – This is Amazon’s flagship leadership development programme for Indian MBA students. AFBP is an opportunity for individuals to advance their careers at Amazon by gaining exposure to the breadth of businesses available at Amazon as well as the depth of business knowledge required to build a long-term career at Amazon through our eight-week Incubator.
Following the AFBP Incubator, participants will be assigned to business areas that require a high level of functional, domain, and business knowledge, preparing them for a long-term career at Amazon. AFBP allows students to navigate complex, real-world business problems while also enhancing their learning through exposure to various verticals within each business area. Through this programme, there are also networking opportunities to meet the senior most leaders of each business. AFBP is an excellent opportunity to receive mentorship, career coaching, and to network with peers, managers, and other Amazonians.
The AFBP Incubator is a first-of-its-kind immersion programme that provides all AFBP participants with a common starting point for their Amazon career. Each participant will have the unique opportunity to learn about various Amazon businesses, including Consumer, Devices, Finance, Operations, and Prime Video, during the Incubator. Participants in the AFBP will gain a broad understanding of various Amazon business areas and functions.
At the same time, the Incubator will offer functional trainings to ensure that participants are familiar with Amazon acronyms, tools, and systems. Finally, AFBP participants will be able to hit the ground running as soon as they join their business area following the Incubator period, thanks to a cultural immersion in Amazon’s peculiar culture, which includes Writing at Amazon, ways of working, adoption of mechanisms, and communicating at Amazon.
Business Areas: Each business area provides AFBP participants with crucible learning experiences, allowing them to gain depth of knowledge in each domain and function in order to gain a deep understanding of the business. The breadth of experiences can help AFBP participants advance to larger leadership roles within Amazon.
Rotations across functions and businesses are available in each business area to enhance the learning experience and provide a comprehensive understanding of the companies Participants will leave the AFBP programme having not only integrated with Amazon’s peculiar ways, but also having gained a diverse set of experiences that will help them emerge as future leaders capable of taking on key leadership roles and building a long-term career at Amazon.
Eligibilities
