Executive -Commercial Job Description

The role is that of commercial people, and the primary responsibility would be to provide backend support to the sales function by guaranteeing timely settlement of various schemes, correct input accounting, and process improvement, so meeting overall business objectives.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Define dealer schemes on system and ensure smooth settlement of schemes (credit notes, gifts and trips) within defined timelines 
    • Procure and distribute scheme related gifts to dealers and ensure closure with acknowledgement  
    • Organize gateways for trip schemes in coordination with travel and other agencies    
    • Ensure compliance to input manual and commercial manual while settlement of schemes
  • Input Accounting
    • Ensure accurate accounting of input related expenses and provisions 
    • Generate and share Input Utilization Report (IUR) on monthly basis  
  • Vendor Management
    • Process and clear the vendor payments as per pre-decided payment terms  
    • Monitor and ensure no pending payments, open goods receipts and open advances of each vendor  
    • Coordinate with Vendors for outstanding amount closure and quarterly Balance Confirmation within defined timelines 
  • Internal Controls
    • Conduct internal process audits and submit the findings for purpose of process improvement
  • Scheme settlements within timelines  
  • Error free input accounting within timelines
  • Timely closure of Gift schemes with acknowledgements  
  • Vendor payments within defined timelines
  • Compliance to Process Audit Schedule
  • Essential
    • Graduate Degree in any stream (BA/B.Sc./B.Com/BBA/BBM/BMS) 
    • Minimum 50% marks throughout education without any backlogs
    • Graduation must be through a full time course
  • Desired
    • Applicants with MBA and Engineering background (B.Tech/B.E./Diploma/B.Pharma) will not be considered.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in Commercial and Warehouse Management.
  • Understanding Dealer Schemes
  • Material Procurement Process.
  • Verbal and Written Communication Skills
  • Negotiation skills
  • Planning and result orientation.
  • Applicant should be mobile pan India as the said role is transferrable 
  • Role involves travelling to various warehouses  
  • Proficiency with MS – Office, in-particular MS – Excel is mandatory
  • Age to be less than 26.
  • 10th, 12th, Graduate.
  • 1.00 to 2.00 years
