Job Descriptions
Are you a technically inclined person who always knew that there is a little more that can derived out of the cloud? At Deloitte, we provide you an opportunity to be an integral part of the Talent Technology team that develops and supports Salesforce applications based on the requirements provided by the clients and other end users. You will be an independent/key contributor in development and support of Salesforce requirements including extensive customization/coding.
Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience configuring all the clouds (Sales/Service/Marketing/Chatter) of Salesforce.com.
- Good understanding and experience of the Force.com platform: VisualForce and Apex.
- Good research skills on the AppExchange to find fitting apps to customer needs.
- Experience installing and configuring Eclipse with the Salesforce.com IDE.
- Able to handle data management inclusive of data load, data translation, data hygiene, data migration, and integration.
- Core Salesforce application development using Salesforce tools to map business process, implement system automation, and integration.
- Full software development life cycle from technical design to development, testing, and deployment, including multiple concurrent Salesforce projects.
- Should have the know-how of the best practices for customizing Salesforce.
- Take responsibility for end-to-end solution delivery for their respective tracks.
- Provide operations team with support and help troubleshoot system issue.
- Recommend to team members or customers the appropriate and optimal use/configuration of a custom-build solution.

Qualifications
Required
- BE/BTech.
- 4–6 years of Salesforce development experience.
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming, Apex, and Visual force.
- Good communications skills are a must, as you must be able to clearly communicate ideas, thoughts, and suggestions.
- Should be easy to talk to and able to work with Salesforce users at all levels (from first time Salesforce users to experienced professionals).
- Should be comfortable with direct communication with business clients.
Preferred
- Dev 401 certification
