The Amazon Global Workforce Staffing (WFS) Organization is crucial in bringing on personnel to offer our world-class customer experience. Our team hires over 700,000 hourly associates each year and expects to hire over 1 million in the next 24 months; WFS is tasked with a historic and unparalleled responsibility of bringing new individuals into Amazon Operations.
One branch of WFS is Amazon’s Candidate Connection Services (ACCS), which provides email, chat, and phone support to candidates applying for Amazon jobs. This candidate customer service eliminates technical impediments in the hiring process, freeing up local HR and Staffing staff to focus on Tier 1 candidate assistance. Candidate Services collects actionable data on candidate concerns and standardises candidate communications.
Responsibilities | Amazon Careers
- Build and invent, customer-centric automated solutions to improve productivity and speed while reducing defects.
- Champion Lean and process simplification.
- Partner with multiple technology teams to facilitate seamless automation, drive adoption of RPA.
- Collaborates with the end users as well as team members in design, development, testing and maintenance of automation projects within ACCS Planning Team.
- Consult on and/or develop multiple automation projects and ensure delivery within the given timeline.
- Develop and present ideas for continuous improvement and process simplification.
- Engage with stakeholders across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Prepare/present business review documents to leadership through effective communication both verbally and in writing.
- Drive new initiatives and metrics within GCC. Make data driven contributions to drive business strategies and deliver goals with measurable impact on candidate / vendors / cost.
- Identify and evaluate potential risk in processes and determine appropriate corrective action with minimal direction from leadership
Qualification | Amazon Careers
- Graduate in Science/Engineering/Technology/Statistics and/or MBA from T1 School (preferred).
- Experience of automating processes and integrating associated systems with advanced technology solutions such as RPA and other automation tools.
- Strong technical knowledge of the underlying tables, integration points and technology processes are critical to success in this role.
- Ability to work with limited general supervision.
- Must have very strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications with an emphasis toward highly available and scalable global solutions.
- Ability to collaborate with a diverse set of business customers and drive consensus when conflicting requirements are identified.
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively organize and communicate across functional and technical lines are critical.
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, develop new ideas and creative solutions to very ambiguous problems.
- 5+ Years of work experience – in consulting /process excellence / automation.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work successfully in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- MBA from premium institutes.
- Certification in automation tools / RPA.
- Driving Standard work, strong program management skills and lean experience strongly preferred
- Act as an advocate of Intelligent Automation and Business Process Management
- Natural curiosity and desire to learn
